To enable us to undertake carry out the Event, we collect personal information from event participants, volunteers and others involved in the Event including your name, address, email, gender, health information, payment details and information of your emergency contact.

We may collect personal information from you in various ways, including in-person, by telephone, via our website or email, the internet and/or through social media. Third parties might also collect personal information from you to provide to us.
What do we do with your personal information?
We use personal information in the following ways:
- To communicate with you about the Event;
- To process your registration or donation in connection with the Event;
- For marketing and promotion of the Event and fundraising for the charity beneficiary; and
- To comply with legislative or regulatory requirements.
If you provide us with details of any medical condition, this may be considered health information. We will seek your consent to the use and disclosure of such information.
How do we store your personal information?
Your personal information is stored online and we may store hard copy files. We have implemented electronic and physical measures to protect the personal, sensitive and health information we receive from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised use, modification or disclosure. We are not, however, liable for any unauthorised access or disclosure of information.
Your financial information
The website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates to protect your credit card information over the internet, and any card details are encrypted.
Access to and correction of your personal information
At your request, we can provide you with access to your personal information that is held by us. We may, however, refuse a request for access in certain circumstances in accordance with Australian Privacy Principle 12.
